The announcement that J.K. Rowling will be releasing 3 New E-Books based on her Magical World of Witchcraft and Wizardry dropped recently.
J.K. Rowling insisted that she will no longer be writing about Harry Potter at the London Premier of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child...however that doesn’t include other characters from Harry's World or the Hogwarts School itself.
“Harry is done now,” Ms. Rowling told Reuters.
The E-Books will collect some of Rowling’s writings from her Pottermore website, and will include some new stories about Hogwarts characters such as Professor Minerva McGonagall’ and Horace Slughorn. The books will be sold on Amazon and there are no current plans to release the books in print.
“‘Pottermore Presents’ is intended to supplement the Harry Potter book series with short-form content that is entertaining and thematically curated by the Pottermore editorial team,” Susan L. Jurevics, the chief executive of Pottermore, said in a statement. “J. K. Rowling’s writing in these collections reveals intricate details of her characters’ lives, their histories, as well as her inspiration.”
