S.H.I.E.L.D employs the use of advanced weaponry and extraordinary special agents and is run by the infamous Nick Fury. S.H.I.E.L.D was frequently required to combat extraterrestrials, demigods and super humans, which eventually lead to the Formation of the Avengers, a powerful group of superheroes.
